1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Grading Panel, you accept these Terms of Service. Continued use of the service after any update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised version.

2. About the Service

Grading Panel is a web application for managing martial arts grading and assessment events. It is operated by TY Kobudo, a sole-trader software business based in New South Wales, Australia. Access is currently session-based; no account or registration is required.

3. Permitted Use

Grading Panel may be used by any organisation or individual managing grading or assessment events. You must comply with all applicable laws and must not use the service for any unlawful purpose.

4. Your Data

All event content you create — including events, candidate records, and scores — belongs to you. TY Kobudo claims no ownership of or rights over your data.

5. Session Access & Your Responsibility

Access is tied to a session identifier stored in your browser. You are responsible for preserving your Session ID to restore access on a new device. TY Kobudo is not liable for data that becomes inaccessible due to a cleared browser session or a lost Session ID.

6. Candidate Data & Minors

If you submit data relating to minors (persons under 18), you are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate authority or consent to record that data. Enter only the information the service requires — candidate names and scores. Do not enter unnecessary personal information.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

Attempt to access, alter, or delete another user's session or data
Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-access the service
Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the operation of the service
Store data in the service that violates applicable privacy or data protection laws

8. Intellectual Property

The Grading Panel application, its design, and the TY Kobudo brand are owned by TY Kobudo. All rights are reserved. Your content remains your property.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided as-is and as-available. TY Kobudo makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding uptime, data retention, or fitness for a particular purpose. The service may be changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TY Kobudo is not liable for any loss of data, loss of business, or indirect or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.

11. Future Paid Services

These Terms govern the current free service. If paid tiers or account-based access are introduced, updated Terms will be presented before those features are activated. Updated Terms will include pricing, billing, refund, and cancellation terms as required by applicable law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

13. Changes to These Terms

TY Kobudo may update these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
