Scoring
Starting a scoring session
Click a score cell in the candidate table (under a performance column) to open the scoring modal for that specific candidate and performance.
You can add up to two extra candidates from the dropdown before starting — useful for partner performances, with candidates from any level. For each extra candidate, select which of their own performances this session counts for.
Click Start to begin. The modal header shows "Performance in progress — SK override fields are active."
While scoring is active
Judges submit their scores from their paired devices in real time. The score table in the modal updates as scores arrive.
Each judge column shows the judge's submitted score and a SK input field beside it (separated by /). You can type in the SK field to override a judge's raw submission. The judge's original submission is retained in the system; the SK value is used in its place when computing the average.
The Final column shows the computed average alongside a separate SK input. You can type a value there to override the performance's final score for a candidate directly, bypassing the judge average.
A ↺ button appears next to any active override — click it to clear the override and revert to the computed value.
When ready, click Finish.
Finishing without any scores
If no scores have been entered yet and you click Finish, a confirmation appears:
- Cancel Performance — abandons the session without recording a result
- Go Back — returns to the active session
After finishing
Once finished, the modal shows the recorded scores. The SK override fields in both the judge columns and the Final column remain active — you can still enter or adjust overrides at this point.
Click Close to dismiss the modal and return to the ledger.
- ↺ Restart — discards all scores for this performance and restarts the session from scratch (requires confirmation)
- Purge — removes all scores, overrides, and results for this performance entirely (requires confirmation, cannot be undone)
Cancelling a session
Click Cancel while a session is active to abandon it without recording any results. No scores are saved.
